Store Manager Job Description

Duties:
- Oversee daily retail store operations, including sales, inventory, and customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to increase store profitability and market share
- Manage and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations
- Monitor and maintain store inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for customers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and budgeting
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Utilize phone etiquette skills to handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Utilize organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Utilize math skills to perform cash handling duties accurately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a retail manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the retail industry
- Ability to perform basic math functions accurately for cash handling duties
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
